US outdoor advertising industry revenue up 6.1% in third quarter

In what would seem to be a never ending upward graph, total revenue for the outdoor advertising industry in the US grew 6.1% in the third quarter of 2007 compared to the same period last year. The revenue figures are collected in aggregate each month by certified public accountants Miller, Kaplan, Arase & Co., LLP and used by the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, in combination with other sources, to release industry revenue information on a quarterly basis. Miller Kaplan provides revenue estimates for more than 2000 radio stations in 160 markets, in addition to the outdoor advertising industry.

EFI completes strategic investment in Raster Printers

EFI has announced that it has completed a strategic investment in San Jose, California, based Raster Printers. Raster Printers, founded in 2004, offers a line of environmentally-friendly UV wide format printers marketed under the brand name Daytona.

FESPA Publishes Wide Survey Results, In Partnership With InfoTrends

The results of FESPA’s Wide Survey, its proprietary pan-European research into the digital wide-format printing marketplace, are now available.
Members of FESPA’ s national associations are entitled to receive a copy of the survey free of charge; non-member companies or industry suppliers can obtain the data via FESPA for a fee of €1500.

Agfa Graphics has announced the commencement of Frederik Dehing as President for Agfa Graphic’s Oceania Regional Operation.
Frederick, who until recently headed up Agfa’s Finance & Administration team of over 500 worldwide, was also a key member of Agfa Graphics Executive Committee (ExCo) responsible for the high level operation of the company.
