Starleaton Digital Solutions has received its first consignment of new Kodak 8 mil Universal Poly Poster Gloss media in both self-adhesive and standard backings.
Compatible with leading wide format printers from Epson, HP, Canon and others, this much-anticipated new media is ideal for durable glossy displays in high-traffic areas. Being Polypropylene, the new media is tough and easy to handle. Although dye inks can be used, the best durable and water-resistant results are achieved with pigmented inks, for both indoor and short-term outdoor use.

Gary Smith, Director of Starleaton says; “The market has been awaiting this product because of its Polypropylene base, water resistance and great performance indoors and out. Even unlaminated, it achieves around three months exterior durability before noticeable cracking, fading, yellowing or bleeding. Laminating will double this durability, which is backed by the Kodak Performance Guarantee.”
Available in 914mm, 1067mm, 1270mm and 1524mm width, all rolls are 30.5 metres in length.
“As always with Kodak performance-guaranteed media, “says Smith, “ICC profiles are available for download and Starleaton also offers customers a custom profiling service.”
Starleaton says samples and stocks are now available in all of their branches for rapid delivery.
