HP will be exhibiting their latest printers at VIIE.
Visitors to Visual Impact Image Expo (VIIE) in Sydney in September will have the opportunity to be amongst the first in Australia to view the newly released HP Scitex printers - the HP Scitex LX800, the largest printer in the HP Latex Ink range and the new HP Scitex flatbed printer, the HP Scitex FB500.

The HP Scitex LX800 was launched at Ipex in May. Capable of printing to 3.2m wide the HP Scitex LX800 with HP Latex Ink Technology delivers greater production flexibility and a green solution for a wider gamut of commercial and industrial signage applications.
The HP Scitex FB500 was launched at the18th Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition in July and is one of the most versatile entry-level industrial flat bed printers available with all functionalities including white ink.
Shane Lucas, Director, HP Graphic Arts South Pacific said VIIE gave signage producers and Print Service Providers (PSPs) a tremendous opportunity to get up to speed with the latest developments from HP and to discover a range of opportunities for expanding digital print markets.

In Australia I believe we have only scratched the surface in terms of the markets that are open to digital print and at this year’s show we will have a range of solutions on display and experts on hand to discuss the opportunities for growth in this segment,” he said.
HP Scitex LX800
The HP Scitex LX800 is HP’s first industrial large-format signage printer (3.2m) that uses HP Latex Inks. This new printer with an environmental profile superior to solvent printing systems allows PSPs to capture new revenue streams as they are now able to offer environmentally conscious customers stunning outdoor/ indoor applications such as POP (point of purchase) displays, light boxes and vehicle wraps, while keeping the environment in mind.
HP Scitex FB500
PSPs can now speed up delivery of their orders with the new UV-curable HP Scitex FB500 printer. The HP Scitex FB500 printer delivers print jobs quickly with an efficient workflow that loads, prints and collects media simultaneously. Additionally, PSPs can grow their business by targeting new applications as the HP Scitex FB500 printer is able to print virtually on any rigid or flexible(1) substrate.
HP channel partners CPI and Celmac will both feature the HP Scitex FB500 on their stands. CPI will also demonstrate the HP Scitex LX800.
