The Noritsu D701 is being debuted at the CES show in Las Vegas, 7-9th January. The machine is a high quality inkjet printer capable of producing a wide variety of print sizes to maximize revenue potential.
In line with the trend for retailers to offer their customers a 'print your own' in bigger sizes, even up to poster and signage, the D701 fits in perfectly with the ability to produce up to 10 x 36" prints.
The D701 utilizes a new inkjet technology that improves the dye ink process to provide sharp detail and brilliant colours, while producing long-lasting prints that resist deterioration from ozone and light.
The D701 is an extremely compact printing system, taking up only 4.6 square feet of space and two D701 printers can be stacked together to increase printing capacity without increasing footprint. Other features include an order sorter that organises print orders for improved productivity and the ability to switch between sheet and roll-fed paper, which enables the printer to handle variety of print jobs for greater revenue opportunities.
The D701 works well as the printing element of a complete photo solution, providing retailers with an easy-to-deploy in-store print solution that has connectivity to third party kiosks from companies such as Lucidiom, Whitech and LifePics.
"At CES we are celebrating our 30 years of operation in the US," said Mr. Akihiko Kuwabara, President of Noritsu America Corporation. "We have worked hard to establish a reputation of high quality and innovation with our products. We are exhibiting our latest printer, the D701, which includes the latest advancements in photo technology and is designed to provide retailers with profitable photo opportunities."
