It's been reported that Eastman Kodak Co. has entered a six-year marketing partnership with the PGA Tour, starting next year (2008).
The agreement will include the branding of scoreboards in Kodak colours as well as hosting corporate hospitality and entertainment venues at some of the events.
"As Kodak has evolved into a new company, our marketing strategy has also evolved," said Jeffrey Hayzlett, Kodak's chief business development officer.
Hayzlett said that this would give the company a chance "to directly connect with our customers and to showcase Kodak's products, innovations and services."
Kodak will terminate its long term sponsorship of the Olympic Games after the 2008 Beijing events in order to focus on smaller events that target more of its consumer base for digital cameras and printers.
The PGA Tour, including the Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour, features professional golfers competing in 108 international events for about $355 million in prize money.
