Epson has announced a new inkjet paper, Exhibition Fibre, a photo paper  they say has a 2.6 D-max and closely resembles the old silver halide paper.

Epson say that the paper will offer excellent black & white and colour prints that include on of the best tonal ranges.

Epson worked with Pixel Genius, a group of digital workflow experts, to generate the colour profiles for this paper and they will be available for download on October 15, 2007, at www.pixelgenius.com/epson. Information on setting up a colour-managed workflow will also be published on that site.

Exhibition Fiber will be available during November 2007 in 25-sheet packages of 8.5x11-, 13x19-, 17x22-, and 24x30-inch paper.
