Epson is introducing a Signature Worthy Print Award as part of its renewed sponsorship of The Australian Institute of Professional Photography’s (AIPP) annual State-based professional photography awards.

“Epson continues to inspire photographers and provide ongoing support for professional photography, and to mark ten years of our alliance with the AIPP we offered to introduce an additional award that focuses on the quality of the printed image,” said Craig Heckenberg, Business Unit Manager at Epson Australia.

“This is an additional category in the State awards and the winner will be chosen at Epson’s sole discretion,” said Craig.   Peter Myers, Executive Officer of the AIPP said he was very pleased Epson had continued its support for the AIPP and looked forward to working with the Epson team for the next three years.

“Epson’s offer to add the Signature Worthy Award shows commendable commitment to the best in professional photography. Craig and I will be working on the criteria for assessing the Signature Worthy Award over the next few months in time for the launch of the 2014 State awards,” said Peter.

“Epson Signature Worthy prints adorn galleries and exhibitions worldwide and represent the very best of Epson’s professional papers. Regardless of the intended look and feel of the final print, there is a Signature Worthy paper that will meet that need,” said Craig.

Epson’s collection of Signature Worthy papers are designed in collaboration with the world’s leading creative professionals. Each Signature Worthy paper is developed and tested at the highest levels to work in concert with Epson’s industry-leading professional printers and inks.
