EFI VUTEk grand format printers
High-quality, high production workhorse capable of producing eye-popping photo-realistic images on multiple substrates, will be showcased on the stands of EFI distributors DES and iMedia.
On display at DES (Stand 1214) will be the 3.2 metre VUTEk GS3200. Since its release, the GS3200 has wowed printers around the world. The first Australian installation was at NSW-based Hi-Vis in Newcastle early this year and already three more have been sold to printers in NSW and Victoria. The GS-series hybrid and roll-to-roll printer family delivers the highest image quality and productivity with selectable droplet size technology, using UV curable inks.

The equally impressive VUTEk QS3220 will be on show at iMedia (Stand 5506). The QS-series hybrid and roll-to-roll printer family delivers high reliability and midrange productivity with selectable droplet size technology. As with the GS-series, the printers use UV curable inks. The first Australian QS3220 installation has just been completed at Kosdown Printing in Port Melbourne.
EFI Rastek wide format printers
The affordable EFI Rastek wide-format printers and inks are entry-level and midrange solutions for print businesses of all sizes and budgets.
On display on both the iMedia and DES stands will be the Rastek H652 UV hybrid printer, capable of delivering photographic image quality, including white, at an unrivalled speed and price point. It’s the perfect choice for an entry-level to mid-range quick print, graphic arts, production or print shop where image quality and speed are critical to meeting customers’ demands. It also delivers a high rate of return, so the printer pays for itself with only a few hours use a day. The first Rastek H652 in Australia was installed at the Scribal Group earlier this year.

In action with the VUTEk and Rastek printers on both DES and iMedia will be the EFI Fiery XF 4.5 advanced RIP solution for inkjet production printing. EFI Colorproof XF 4.5 for proofing will also be featured on the DES stand.
The latest version of the industry-leading colour management software, EFI XF 4.5 released in January 2011, delivers additional capability and control in the colour supply chain including improved control of spot colours, more versatile colour verification, and new support for special white, varnish, and metallic inks.
