A prolific name in the local industry is set to become a ubiquitous name in the Americas.

Australian and New Zealand wide format printers have, over the years, voted with their cheque books to install the relatively cheap and easy way of laminating and mounting prints with the locally designed and built Ezy Taper. It is widely considered an industry essential.

Working on the KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid) principle, Warrick Pye and partner Maree Miller have managed to create an inexpensive solution to a nearly universal industry requirement to protect prints with a laminate. However the machine does much more than just laminate, it applies tape, streamlines mounting and gets rid of bubbles in no time.

The machine has been so successful that it has won several awards both locally and internationally for its design and export achievements.

Ezy Taper has been exported successfully to many European countries and elsewhere over the years but never before has a distributor been put in place to capitalise on the expected demand once the benefits are made known.

North America distribution companies have been chasing Warrick and Maree for several years with a view to giving their own industries the same advantages that our own companies have enjoyed for several years now.

Warrick and Maree are off to the International Sign Expo in Las Vegas next month to kick start the American and Canadian drive with their new Canadian and US distributor, Sign Equip based in Edmonton, Canada.
