GJS Machinery has announced the appointment of Lukas Picton to the role of Corporate Communications Manager and Digital Sales.

Picton brings more than six and a half years public relations, marketing and social media experience with him to GJS Machinery having previously held a senior consultant role with global public relations firm Text 100.

In his previous role Picton executed campaigns for several multinational companies in the technology sector including Adobe, IBM, Lenovo and Cisco. Picton’s campaign for Lenovo’s X300 ‘Kodachi’ Launch was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the 2008 Public Relations Institute of Australia Golden Target Awards for Excellence and nominated in the Asia Pacific PR Awards 2008 category for best Business to Business Marketing campaign.
