HP announces that New Zealand channel partner Aarque Group is to extend their product portfolio to include the HP Scitex Commercial range of printers.
“Aarque has had a long association with HP dating back to the early days of inkjet and plotters for the technical market. Today they have extensive networks across all digital print segments. We are enthusiastic about Aarque taking on the HP Scitex Commercial range as this enables us to benefit from Aarque’s well-developed channels and take digital print into new markets,” said Shane Lucas, Director, HP Graphic Arts South Pacific.
Aarque Group, under its divisions - Aarque Graphics, Aarque Sign & Screen and Frontline - services digital print markets from its six branches across New Zealand. Prior to this new agreement Aarque was a channel partner for HP Designjet with particular focus in the architectural and engineering markets as well as graphics. The new agreement extends this focus to commercial and production print markets.

The HP Scitex Commercial product portfolio features the HP Latex ink technology printers – the HP Scitex LX800 and LX600 – and the HP Scitex UV flatbed models – HP Scitex FB500 and FB700.
Bult said the addition of Latex to the company’s portfolio created a natural synergy with Aarque’s Responsible Eco-Management Program. “Under this Program we build our own media profiles and match substrates to create eco-media portfolios for clients. Adding Latex to the mix means we can offer an even broader eco-solution”.
Aarque is a Premier Elite partner with HP for service and support and will also provide this service for its HP Scitex Commercial customers in New Zealand on a national platform. Bult said, “being able to offer HP Scitex service packs as part of the solution further enhances our relationship with clients”.
In addition to the HP Scitex Commercial range Aarque will also exclusively sell the HP Designjet T7100, which was released in October. The HP Designjet T7100 Printer is designed for central reprographic departments in enterprises and reproduction houses.
