Starleaton Digital Solutions is proud to announce that it has signed an exclusive agreement to distribute conVerd LLC’s Enviroboard MR in Australia and New Zealand.

Stocks in 1220mm x 2260mm and 1125mm x 3050mm are already available with more containers in transit to meet demand. Starleaton will also introduce other conVerd LLC green print media going forward, such as Blox-Lite opaque banner, Wallpaper,  and Greenlight front/backlit papers.

Enviroboard_sampleVoted ‘Greenest Product of the Show’ at last month’s ISA Sign Expo in Orlando, Florida, Enviroboard MR was also used for all the informational and educational panels around the halls. Under the motto ‘renew-reuse-sustain’ – conVerd is committed to bring the greenest possible FSC-certified products to the wide-format printing, signage, textile and display markets.

Al Ammerman, Vice-President of Sustainability at conVerd LLC says; “Starleaton Digital Solutions is the green partner we have been looking for to promote and distribute our FSC product offerings. ConVerd is extremely pleased to have Starleaton as our exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand.”

Starleaton Director Ben Eaton adds; “Enviroboard MR is manufactured from 10% post-consumer waste and 90% FSC-certified sustainable fibre. Because it is 100% paper and uses water-based adhesive, it can then be recycled in normal processes after use, rather than incinerated which is the case with most foam-based boards. Best of all, it prints beautifully because it has ultra-smooth brilliant white surfaces rated at 97% of light reflectance.”

Available initially in 3mm thickness, 3.5mm and 4.7mm will eventually come on-stream. Enviroboard MR possesses outstanding flatness, flexural rigidity and edge-crush capabilities. The corrugated core features bright white paperboard laminated to both sides, for printing using UV Flatbed, digital inkjet and UV Screen applications.

Ben Eaton concludes; “Enviroboard MR enables our customers to really make a difference in ‘greening’ their signage and display offerings. It ticks all of the boxes in what a truly sustainable product should be. Supermarkets, exhibitions, showrooms, stores and malls will be able to proudly claim that their signage is from sustainable resources, and will be responsibly recycled once disposed of.”
