On notification of their scholarships, recipients had the following comments:
Adrian Sheedy: “I am absolutely delighted to be part of the GAMAA scholarship programme. I’m looking forward to the challenges the programme offers in leadership and eventually implementing these skill sets into an ever-changing business landscape. It is also a wonderful chance to forge some strong friendships over the term of the programme and furthermore grow as an individual”.
Erin Mercieca: “The GAMAA workshops I have attended have been both beneficial in my working and social life. The GAMAA Leadership programme highlights strategies that are helping me to enhance my knowledge and ability on a day-to-day basis. I am keen to grow in the printing industry and wish to learn in all aspects. I wish to thank the GAMAA members for their support and belief in me to give me this opportunity”.
Mark George: “All my working life I’ve looked at what the next day would bring, who I’d meet, what I’d learn and who would learn from me. GAMAA’s Leadership Programme brings together all these aspects, and fits perfectly with my future goals. GAMAA’s commitment to nurture the industry is highlighted by this Scholarship, and to be offered a place amongst so many talented colleagues is personally very rewarding”.
Matt McRobert: “I began attending GAMAA workshops two years ago. In that time I’ve been amazed at how the team at GAMAA manages to deliver courses that are always topical, relevant and presented by facilitators who are the best in their field. The beauty of the GAMAA workshops is their practicality. Most of what you learn can be easily adapted into the workplace and there is no doubt that my exposure to the learning experiences available through GAMAA, have made me a more productive and effective manager. Being a GAMAA scholar for 2010 means I will be able to continue the journey of personal and professional growth in an environment that is challenging, motivating, at times confronting but always rewarding”.
