Originally of Italian heritage Angela brought warmth and positivity to all who knew her. With her infectious smile and unwavering positive attitude, her mantra – ‘you print it, we’ll get it done’ – talked to a positive outlook that inspired everyone around her.
Angela Tadic, 1957-2025Slow to hire but quick to fire, ensured people always knew where they stood with her: and this honesty fostered a culture of trust and accountability.
In the ‘90s, Angela, with her husband and partner, Mitch, ran a successful manufacturing business for the ‘rag trade’, producing thousands of garments for renowned fashion brands in Melbourne. As the shift towards offshore manufacturing made it challenging to compete domestically, Angela turned down the opportunity to manage offshore production in favour of staying in Australia to raise her young family.
In 2003, she applied for a sewing machine operator position at Vivad, where she quickly made her mark, steadily building a team of highly skilled operators over the two decades that followed. Angela continued to run towards challenges rather than shy away from them. She was an exceptional problem solver, always facing challenges with good humour and an infectious smile.Angela enjoying a charity bed-race with colleagues
Throughout her career, Angela had a remarkable ability to connect with others, be they customers, suppliers, co-workers, family or friends. Even on tough days, she could lift spirits just with her presence and bring a sense of joy and comfort to those around her.
Angela retired at the end of 2023 and spent some time travelling through Europe before being diagnosed with cancer. She was surrounded by family and loved ones right up until the end.
Angela’s funeral and a celebration of her life will be held at 11am on Friday 11th April at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in Coburg and then upstairs at The Cross Keys Hotel in Essendon.
