A couple of weeks before PacPrint opens its doors in May is the FESPA Global Print Expo, this time returning to Berlin. Over 500 exhibitors will be present, including 17% who are first-time Fespa exhibitors.

Messe BerlinThe previous FESPA Global Print Expo held at Messe Berlin was in 2022

From the 6th to 9th May 2025, at the Messe Berlin, Germany, FESPA Global Print Expo and its co-located events (European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience), will take place for industry visionaries to meet and discover a wealth of products, trends and solutions for use in speciality print, signage and personalisation.

FESPA marks its return to Berlin following a three year hiatus and is looking forward to welcoming its global exhibitor and visitor bases, many of whom will be familiar with the host city. Berlin has been a trade show centre for over two hundred years and the current Messe, at 190,000 square metres and 27 Halls, is ideally located for transport, hotels, entertainment and is regarded as being in the creative hub of central Berlin. Berlin is easily accessible from mainland Europe via both car and public transport, and it offers visitors a multitude of options for affordable accommodation.

For long-haul visitors from Australia and New Zealand, Berlin has a new airport (opened in 2020), code BER, located just 20km south of the city. Qantas does not yet fly directly into BER but a quick way to get there is via Heathrow. London and a 1hr 55min connection with British Airways. Lufthansa is also a possibility and is part of the Star Alliance, which includes Air New Zealand.FESPA Michael RyanFESPA's Michael Ryan

Michael Ryan, Head of FESPA Global Print Expo, says: “We’re thrilled to be back in Berlin this year with our new strapline: ‘Where Visionaries Meet’. This year’s message shines the spotlight on our futuristic and forward-thinking FESPA community, including our visitors, exhibitors, award winners, Association Heads and more. It also highlights that our events serve as a meeting point for these Visionaries, empowering them to discover new opportunities and make impactful decisions for the future of their business.”

Ryan adds: “In an ever-evolving industry like ours, it is vital that we are consistently looking forward. How can we guarantee a sustainable future? How is AI impacting the sector? The possibilities for our community are endless and we look forward to highlighting them at our 2025 events.

“FESPA, as an organisation, is delighted to welcome visionaries from our community to Messe Berlin in May to not only discover the range of solutions being displayed, but also to share their thoughts on what the future holds too.”

FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 The highly anticipated World Wrap Masters competition is set to make a return in Berlin. Following a series of regional competitions over the first two days of the event, vehicle wrappers from across Europe will go head-to-head to wrap a variety of special objects and vehicles. This will be followed by the all-important final, where regional champions will battle it out to be crowned the World Wrap Masters 2025 champion. Alongside this, visitors can also attend a series of live wrapping demonstrations with industry experts.

The FESPA Awards will also return this year and will celebrate innovation and creativity across 18 different categories, including print, sign and display, vehicle wrapping, apparel/textiles and special effects. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to see entries to the 2025 FESPA Awards first-hand. Our expert panel of judges, Debbie McKeegan, Graeme Richardson-Locke, Jacek Stencel and Simon Pless, will then announce the winners at the official awards ceremony on Wednesday 7th May 2025.

Ryan says: “As our exhibitors unveil their plans in the coming months, we’re eagerly anticipating the innovative opportunities they will create at the show, as well as the new avenues for sustained growth that they will inspire for our visitors. Our Berlin events are set to be truly ground-breaking.”

Registration for the events will open at the end of January and visitors can purchase super early bird tickets to all three events for €25 (about AUD$35). In the past, some exhibitors have offered free entry tickets for ANZ visitors.
