The latest addition to HP’s large format printer range, the HP Designjet Z-series 6100, will be on display to the professional photography market for the first time at PMA in Brisbane this week.

The recently released HP Designjet Z6100 features an embedded spectrophotometer which offers breakthrough colour consistency enabling users to achieve consistent, accurate colour making it ideal for limited editions as well as prints on demand.

The HP Designjet Z6100 which comes in 106.7 cm (42”) and 152.4 cm (60”) models also features eight HP Vivera pigment inks delivering vivid, water- and fade-resistant prints.

Also on the HP stand at PMA is HP’s latest offerings in Retail Photo Solutions Technology.

HP Photosmart ml1000 Minilab printer employs a dry inkjet system, making photos smudge, water and fade resistant. The world’s first true wet lab alternative, it is the fastest, most versatile dry minilab available and delivers 1500 4x6 and 750 5x7 inch prints per hour, offering 16 sizes in gloss and matte finishes. The ml1000 boasts 200 year print life.

HP Photosmart pm2000e Microlab is a compact retail photo printer using a dry inkjet system. Capable of 700 prints per hour (6x4) and 5x7 prints at 350 ph, with 200 year print life. The first Microlab to allow front of counter and back of counter functionality offering a high return on investment.  

Both of these HP Photosmart products were winners of the US DIMA 2008 Innovation Digital Product Awards.
