Bragging an estimated 60% cost saving in ink for Epson Pro 3800 user, PermaJet, the UK's CIS inkflow and inkjet paper manufacturer, has now developed their product for use with the very popular 3800 model from Epson.
PermaJet already have bulk ink systems for the Epson 1400, R1800 and R2400 range of printers, saving on average, they say up to 75% in ink costs.
The system feeds inks from external bottles unit along tubes to the print head. The Epson Pro 3800 Eco-Flo system comes complete with all nine pressurised injector cartridges and tubes, and is powered by lightfast certificated PermaJet K-Chrome inks.
Two hundred and fifty millilitre bottles of each of the nine colours is supplied as standard which they maintain is as good as Epson UltraChrome K3 inks. The cartridge chips are reprogrammed so that each time the ink monitors run low, it is a simple process of switching the printer off, powering the printer back on, and seeing the ink levels register as full again.
The system sells in the UK for £399.95 (approximately A$850).
