The Digital Show – to be staged in Melbourne 16-18 October 2015 – returns this year with a host of new and innovative initiatives that are set to broaden enthusiast appeal with areas of interest that include consumer electronics, imaging, entertainment and even motoring.

The Digital Show Director and Event Organiser, Robert Gatto, said some of the new initiatives on offer will include a digital lifestyle area, hands-on photography workshops, as well as other new digital technology innovations from some of the best in the business.
“The show is ideal for photography and digital enthusiasts who thrive on being early adopters of technology; designers and creatives; professional photographers; families who enjoy the digital lifestyle; advocates of electric vehicles and renewable energy; as well as students, social media users and bloggers, to name a few,” Mr Gatto said.
Creative Learning Centres
Visitors can pre-book to attend any of the hands-on Creative Learning Centre workshops that will each focus on one of four photographic genres – creative food, creative macro, creative portrait / flash and creative printing.
There will be three sessions available every day during the show, with each creative workshop delivered by a professional photographer who is an expert in that particular area. These small group workshops are expected to attract a lot of interest as they will be kept to just 16 - 20 places each, depending on the session. Bookings are essential.
4K Viewing Rooms
This year, visitors will be able to experience new 4K television and video technology in the darkened viewing rooms - complete with comfy ottomans.
This new 4K technology is able to deliver four times the number of pixels when compared with Full HD, and is set to be the next buzzword in image technology.
Inspirational Theatre
Throughout The Digital Show, visitors are welcome to attend any of the free daily presentations hosted by a variety of different experts who will each focus on a particular theme of photography.
The four different presentations that are scheduled to take place each day will be delivered in the new 400-seat, dual screen digital Inspiration Theatre.
Tesla
Tesla will showcase their multi-award winning and internationally acclaimed Model S electric vehicle at The Digital Show.
While Tesla is a technology company first, the organisation has created the world’s first premium sedan that has built an electric vehicle from the ground up.
With a keen focus on the design and manufacture of electric vehicles as well as renewable energy storage, Tesla is looking forward to interacting with the like-minded technology-driven audience that visits The Digital Show.
Adobe
Adobe will demonstrate its next generation Creative Cloud technology that offers users a collection of software developed for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography and cloud services, making it easy to create wherever and whenever inspiration strikes.

The Digital Show will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
