DES & Epson are pleased to invite photographers to attend a one off seminar series by internationally renowned photographer Marcus Bell in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland in February 2008.
During the full day seminar photographers will gain an in-depth insight into why Marcus’ Brisbane based
photographic business Studio Impressions has become one of the world’s most successful wedding and portrait studios and take home valuable information to use in their own business.
Marcus said the seminar would cover the complete story of running a successful photography studio.
“I explore the creation of a business based on photographic art, and take people through the entire process from the moment the client contacts them to the presentation of their final product,” Marcus said.
“Most importantly I will cover how to sell the product to achieve in business.
“’Shooting from the heart’ helps clients to connect with their wedding photos emotionally and this is a great platform on which to build a photographic business.”
Marcus will discuss how presentation of images to clients is a key ingredient in the recognition of wedding and portrait photography as art that clients want to own.
“Master printing and presenting images that visually communicate the full story then producing an array of quality presentation options in both print and multimedia is essential. “I will also talk about how to manage workflow and the latest Photoshop techniques.”
The multi-award winning Brisbane photographer is a highly sought after speaker throughout the world and has recently completed seminar tours across America and Europe.
Marcus has also penned two books, the most recent being A Masters Guide to Wedding Photograph which has rocketed into the top ten photography books since being published in the U.S.A. This seminar series will mark the first time Marcus, who was named in the top 10 wedding photographers in the world by BBC Television, and has twice been awarded Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year, has presented and shared both his photography passion and business success in Australia.
