DES has announced the availability of the brand new Epson SureColor P5070 for the proofing, packaging, photography and fine art markets.
When Epson launched the HDR ink set and Stylus Pro 4900 back in 2010, it set a new benchmark in terms of colour, resolution and print quality.
With unmatched performance, the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 has been in the market for 7 years, now in 2017 Epson is set to raise the bar even further and complete its SureColor lineup with the replacement for the discontinued Epson Stylus Pro 4900, the new Epson SureColor P5070 targets the proofing, packaging, photography and fine art markets.
The printer is capable of 10 colour printing using 200mL UltraChome HDX ink cartridges. The UltraChrome HDX ink allows machines to be configured either with Light Light Black (enabling 98% Pantone Coverage), or the new Violet, increasing the gamut to a new level with 99% Pantone coverage. The new UltraChrome HDX Photo Black ink will increase pigment density almost 1.5 times. The new Matte Black will also improve density and presentation.
