Giclee Media have announced the availability of Moab’s new Lasal range of archival resin coated papers which they say joins their Colorado Fibre Gloss and the now well known Entrada Cotton Rag in forming a complete solution for all inkjet photographic needs.
Lasal is a 100% US made product and has an ultra smooth bright white acid free 270gsm art paper as its base. The acid free nature of the base makes the paper truly archival and the new micro porous inkjet coating is both water resistant and highly scratch resistant.
Lasal Lustre incorporates a low sheen finish that makes it look exactly like traditional “E” type photographs and the high gloss is more scratch resistant than other similar types of paper.
The new inkjet receptor coating has one of the longest tonal ranges available in the inkjet market today and excels in high quality wedding and portraiture work where the ultimate longevity is required in a resin coated product.
The papers are available in A4, A3+ sheets, 17 and 24 inch by 100 foot rolls. Profiles are downloadable for Epson, Canon and HP printers.
