GJS today announced the appointment of Steven Poole to the role of Customer and Product Support, a newly created role designed to further strengthen GJS’ already exceptional customer service and support team.

Steven joins GJS from Sawgrass Europe (UK) and will be responsible for customer training, technical support, product installation and remote troubleshooting for GJS’ digital printing portfolio.

“Borders were no boundaries when recruiting for this new role. We wanted someone with exceptional industry knowledge, a proven track record in customer support and a keen eye for detail. Having worked with Steven for several years at Sawgrass Europe we’ve experienced the high level of support that he provides and we’re looking forward to him being able to deliver the same standard of service to our customers” said Greg Stone, Managing Director, GJS.
Steven brings with him expertise in inkjet printer troubleshooting, maintenance and repair for desktop, large format inkjet and direct to garment printers. He also has valuable skills in the area of colour management and the creation of ICC profiles and is a qualified Epson large format printer engineer.
“With the rapid growth of GJS over the last few years it was important that we invested in additional support resources to maintain our focus on customer service and Steven has demonstrated a clear capacity to think like our customers so we’re confident that he’ll be an excellent addition to the team,” Greg added.
Previous to his current role at GJS, Steven was employed in several roles at Sawgrass Europe (UK) that focused on education, training, technical support and content development. He has an Honours degree in Business Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University.
