The APVWA wish to congratulate the following professional vehicle wrappers who have recently passed the new HEXIS Silver Accreditation:

•    Brendan Dawson, Face It Graphics
•    Shane Fowler, Shane's Signs
•    Ben Schliebs, Graphic Applications
•    Clayton Wilson, Gold Coast Wraps
•    Mark Van Dam
Monika Whiteman, National Marketing and Product Manager for PT Store said "... through the Hexis Accredited Installer Network, Hexis aim to achieve long-term goals for the industry, the installers and the brand alike. The objective is to be able to guarantee the highest standard of installation quality. By becoming part of the network, members will be called upon for large-scale world-wide projects, events and training when required, as well as being listed on the World-wide Hexis Accredited Installer Network."

The accreditation exam ... required a combination of high level application skills, techniques and product knowledge. The written exam and various timed application tasks drew on the installer's own experience and problem-solving logic in order to produce near perfect results, with an emphasis on producing consistent quality. The pass mark for the exam is 80% with certain errors, such as cutting through to the substrate, counting as a straight fail.

The three levels, Silver, Gold and Platinum, must be passed in order to be able to sit for each subsequent level.

The following installers achieved Silver Level (2012 version) which took place at Custom Grafix, Melbourne in 2012:
•    Andrew Charman, Servo Designs
•    Justin Dam, Exclusive Wraps
•    Callum Dick, NextGen Signage
•    Wayne Hind, Custom Grafix
•    Henry Jiang
•    Menios Kannellopoulos, Wraptor
•    Greg Stevens, SignPro
•    Warren Van den Heuvel, Pure Image

Further congratulations go out to the very capable individuals who also achieved Gold level status during the first ever round of Hexis accreditations in 2012 :
•    Andrew Charman, Servo Designs
•    Callum Dick, NextGen Signage
•    Wayne Hind, Custom Grafix
•    Menios Kannellopoulos, Wraptor

Monika said "Oliver and PT Store are excited about the five new team members and have full confidence in their skills, professionalism and strive for quality. We are proud to have them on board. ....more accreditation exams are planned at 6-month intervals, with preparation courses available before the exam. Additionally, HEXIS and PT Store are offering comprehensive, full hands-on training workshops for vehicle applications.

Mark van Dam, a well established and experienced vehicle wrapper, commented "The hardest Accreditation I have seen In Australia. Yet it is the Hexis basic accreditation..... I have attended many & completed many graphic courses over the last 24 years in the signage & vinyl wrap business. The Hexis courses, which then go onto certification levels are by far the most complex, in depth & rewarding application course than any other out there. For a company to fly a guy out from France, Oliver Rohler, "THE" trainer, to hold multiple day courses, training & accreditation....is a credit to them. These guys are serious about their business. Massive thanks to Monika, Ian and all the guys at PT Store & Hexis for making it happen."

Stickittome organised the accreditations in Melbourne.
