Mimaki received the VISCOM BEST of 2013 AWARD in the Signmaking category for its CG-SRIII Series of Cutting Plotters as well as for its for its Latex Ink LX101.

The plotters have been enhanced with a variety of new developments including a cutting pressure of 500 grams, a doubled curved-cutting speed, continuous intermediate crop mark detection with a maximum of four crop marks and remote monitoring.

Mimaki also received the BEST of 2013 AWARD in the Large Format Printing category for its Latex Ink LX101 for the JV400LX printer. The company introduced the world's first white latex ink in 2013, bringing to sign and display graphics operations the ability to digitally produce vivid colour printing results on transparent substrates.

Other Mimaki products featured at the show included:  
• JFX200-2513. This entry-level 4-colour UV flatbed printer was previewed at the show. Extremely easy to use, it incorporates many of the advanced features that Mimaki is known for in the sign and display graphics industry. Printing at up to 25 square metres per hour on materials up to 2,500 x 1,300 mm and up to 50 mm thick, the JFX200-2513’s compact footprint, eco-friendly LED curing and attractive price point make it ideal for businesses in the sign and display graphics industry that wish to affordably expand their range of services.
• JFX500-2131. This grand format UV flatbed printer features multiple ink options and LED curing for high quality printing with reduced energy consumption. At the show, this flatbed printer ran very reliably and achieved the promised speed of 18 sqm/h with white ink.
