Business Seminars
Gfk Marketing Services will be hosting a seminar on "Global Imaging Market Trends - A run down of the world market form Japan to the USA" which will discuss detailed Market Studies about Product Development, Market Data and Trends in the Imaging Industry of China and Southeast Asia. Photo Imaging News will set another benchmark for the Photo Imaging Industry of China by organizing “International Business Forum”. Twelve executives from eleven prominent multinational photo imaging companies will make presentations during the 2007 International Business Forum to major traders in China, including minilab chains, prolabs, online finishers, suppliers/distributors, and even potential investors.

Presented by MyClick Media, Charles Yin will be speaking on Mobile Imaging and Payment in the New Era. MyClick Media is a mobile media convergence technology utilizing photo matching, digital content and customer relationship management platforms to form a mobile media platform. In today’s world of fast-paced technology, companies have to maximize all available avenues to reach their target audience and new media like mobile phone content is one of the ways to achieve that. All business seminars will be held in English and Chinese.

Workshops
Photography enthusiasts and professional photographers will be able to learn the secrets behind the success of top photographers in China such as Prof. Deng Wei and Yu Chongtian. Apple Asia, Shriro and Bowens are some of the exhibitors who will showcase more than just products at the trade fair. Apple Asia will conduct a seminar on maximizing its software for multimedia production, a necessary in today’s digital world. Photographers looking for another post-production editing tool will get a hands-on session on Apple’s Aperture, presented by Jim Haiser.

Shriro will be presenting its house of brands via various avenues such as seminar, photography workshop, special product showcase as well as the launch of the Chinese edition of the book Victor Photography. David Grover will speak on the latest hardware and software developments in high-end medium-format digital photography and Linhof expert Uwe Brauenlich will present applied large-format photography in both analog and digital. Bowens is collaborating with Apple Asia and Mamiya to host a Live Studio at its booth, conducted by published photographer Jon Gray. Jon who has been described as a photographer with flair and imagination to deliver photographs that inspire, will be flying in from London specially for this event. He specializes in fashion, advertising, lifestyle and black/white photography. For professionals in the printing business, D.I.M will provide some tips on how to maximize the use of Hahnemuhle digital imaging paper.

Visitors and exhibitors can also look forward to getting creative shots taken and printed free from a unique Kiosk sponsored by June Systems. Free photo printing kiosks will also be made available to all visitors, sponsored by Kodak. 

Imaging Expo/Interphoto Shanghai will be held for the fifth time this year, 26 – 29 September 2007 at Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center.  Based on the dynamic alliance of the two strong partners, Koelnmesse GmbH and Shanghai International Exhibitions Co. (SIEC), the trade fair is the perfect platform for a showcase and promotion of the industry’s latest products and innovations.
