HP has announced the availability of multi-function printing (MFP) capabilities across select HP Designjet T Series printer models, providing architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) and design professionals with increased productivity and seamless workflow integration.

Additionally, HP customers using select Designjet T Series printers can now also benefit from HP’s usage-based SmartClick program covering consumables and service.

HP Designjet Large Format MFPs deliver high quality prints, streamline workflows
To enable greater productivity for AEC firms, reproduction houses and copy shops in Asia Pacific, HP is collaborating with Contex to offer multifunction printing (MFP) and scanning capabilities on the following models within the award-winning HP Designjet T Series portfolio:
•    The ultra-compact and affordable HP Designjet T520 eMFP2Go
•    The highly versatile HP Designjet T790 eMFP2Go  
•    The professional, full featured HP Designjet T1300 eMFP Repro
•    The production-level, high volume HP Designjet T7100 MFP Repro 44, HP Designjet T7100 MFP Repro 36 printers
These multifunction capabilities were previously available only with the HP Designjet T2300 eMFP, the first-ever web-connected MFP for design teams that provides the most seamless scanning, copying and printing integration.
HP’s Designjet T Series is the winner of BLI’s first-ever “Wide Format Technical Printer Line of the Year” for 2013. In addition, four of the six available models have earned BLI “Picks” as the best in their respective categories.
Highlights of the HP Designjet Large Format MFPs include:
•    Effortless one-click print, scan and copy functionality in a compact, fully-integrated footprint.
•    Print, copy and scan directly to the FTP, USB or tablet from intuitive touch screen interfaces. No need to install drivers.
•    Easy to use software that simplifies image cropping, corrections and scaling.
•    Advanced features1 such as intelligent image smoothing filters and adaptive thresholding algorithms that combine background cleaning and the preservation of greyscales in one mode.
•    Sharp 600-1200 dpi copy and scan quality.
•    Crisp lines and detailed drawings with HP inks and print head technology.
HP SmartClick Program for HP Designjet T Series Printers
The HP SmartClick program is a pay-per-use option for customers who prefer to be billed at a monthly agreed rate for the actual of consumption of HP consumables.  The rate will be standardized for both color and monochrome printing and no minimum volume commitment is required.
Available on a five-year contract basis through HP channel partners, the program covers:
•    ink cartridge, print head and maintenance kit replacement
•    replacement of parts and services.
Previously available only with the HP Designjet T7100, HP SmartClick is now available for the HP Designjet T790 44-in ePrinter, HP Designjet T1300 ePrinter Series and  HP Designjet T2300 eMFP Series.
Generic Resources in Malaysia and Soosung Engineering in Korea, existing HP Designjet T7100 customers, cover the monthly management of their large format printers under the HP SmartClick Program.
