Anitech has announced the release of the latest in the Seiko ColorPainter series of printers, the H2P-104s and the H2P-74s, saying that the new machines represent a breakthrough in volume printing.

Barry Grant, marketing director at Anitech said “These systems are set to become the real workhorses of the industry. Print shop owners can now print around the clock as both the 104s and 74s models have bulk ink supply systems which is 40% cheaper than traditional cartridges with each colour carrying a thumping great 8 litre reservoir - virtually eliminating the need to replenish inks on long runs.”

ColorPainter H2P-104sThe ColorPainter H2P series printers from Seiko I Infotech are specifically designed for operators that are looking for superior graphic image quality combined with a high-speed print engine capable of running at speeds up to 79.5 sm/h. Couple this with the company’s new reduced cost, VX low solvent inks and high frequency drop-on-demand piezo heads, and this makes the running costs of 4 colour printing lower than anyone can imagine.

Each model has Seiko’s advanced print technology built right into the structure, features such as:

SP3: third generation Smart Pass Technology that automatically creates unique gradient overlaps between each printing pass to reduce or eliminate pass-to-pass banding. SP3 maximises image quality and offsets factors that affect image quality when printing at high speed.

DDP: dynamically processes each colour into 3 drop sizes “on-the-fly” using the printers high-speed processing capabilities to deliver maximum image quality while maintaining correct colour density. Seiko I Infotech’s Dynamic Dot Processing technology produces superior smooth gradients at all print speeds and every resolution.

SNM: Smart Nozzle Mapping is an innovative nozzle compensation function which re-maps clogged nozzles, allowing continuous printing and perfect print quality with no speed loss.

CP Manager: is an oversight software management tool that allows users to monitor printer status, change media and temperature settings, check ink levels and review maintenance requirements.

“Seiko’s new VX inks have a huge colour gamut, are easy to profile and dry almost instantly” concluded Barry “This makes them absolutely ideal for high-speed printing, plus the bulk inks are 40% cheaper than conventional ink cartridges.”
