A special offer has been launched to encourage key printing company staff to attend a one day Sydney-based pilot course teaching them how to use social media and key marketing strategies to attract more business.
The Marketing Services Essentials for Printers course will be run by Printing Industries on Tuesday 26 June to test market interest and get content feedback as a precursor to its becoming available nationally.
Ian Walz 2012 (Casual)Printing Industries' National Manager, Commercial Services, Ian Walz, said that a special incentive was available for companies to send two representatives to attend the course for the cost of one.
“We think it’s very worthwhile to get as much input as possible as this is a key new course that has been developed with the intention of skilling industry companies to value-add to their existing product mixes.
“Having the right mix of value-add services will help printing companies to improve their client relationships and also develop new revenue streams by providing a range of communication based services.
“All industry companies should be looking at developing such services in this digitally focussed age and we intend that this course provides the knowledge base for them to do so,” he said.
Marketing Services Essentials for Printers was developed by Printing Industries in conjunction with the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA).
It covers the essential elements of marketing campaigns using both digital and print; identifying the opportunities to introduce new services to your clients, delivering new services either directly or through service partners and case studies of successful implementation.
Course enrolment is $595 for Printing Industries members (up to two staff) and $745 for non-members. There is a 15 per cent discount for companies with five or more attendees.
