Spandex Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Baker, the new Area Sales Manager calling on Brisbane South and Western Queensland regions.
Andrew has been working in the supply of signage and printing products for 25 years in Queensland, 21 years of that time has been as a Sales Representative within the industry. At age 17 Andrew started working at Dalton, selling paper and corflute for over 13 years. Moving on from Dalton, 
he spent 2 years at General Electric Plastics selling acrylic and polycarbonate sheeting.
A further 5 years was spent working at J.L. Lennard Graphics in the sale of printing press room consumables and returning back to Dalton for a further 2 years to market new products in sheet sales. The most recent position was with AVS, where Andrew spent over 3 years in wide format media and hardware sales.
Andrew has made a 17 year contribution to the signage industry as a committee member for SGIAA and as the Secretary of the association for 10 years. He enjoys AFL football, golf and classic cars such as his pride and joy, a 1970 Chrysler Valiant.
Andrew’s years of knowledge throughout all the various markets that make up the signage industry will be an invaluable asset to Spandex’s continued growth throughout Queensland.
Based at the Spandex distribution centre in Yatala, Andrew is pleased to be continuing his journey in the signage and digital print industry and we wish him continued success.
