Fujifilm has announced that it has acquired 100% of award-winning software company, Whitech Pty Limited – global specialists in market leading photographic digital kiosk and home ordering solutions.

Fujifilm Holdings Australasia Director, Dave Marshall, said after acquiring 35% of Whitech in 2007, it was a natural progression for the software company to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujifilm.

“Whitech is a multi-award winning company renowned for its innovative software solutions as well as its creative business and marketing solutions,” Mr Marshall said.

Whitech_logoFujifilm’s 100% acquisition of Whitech will complement the rapid growth of CloudNET - Fujifilm’s solution focussed business unit.

“A key advantage of Fujifilm’s ownership of Whitech is that the organisation can direct software development as required.

“CloudNET solutions can be customised to accommodate specific customer needs, allowing software requirements to be developed accordingly using Whitech’s expertise,” he said.

CloudNET provides a range of solutions that help customers grow and better manage their business capabilities and opportunities through the provision of digital asset management services, analogue to digital transition
programs, bespoke application integration, as well as a range of pay as you go Software-as-a-Service and online storage solutions.

Mr Marshall said Fujifilm has had a strong business relationship with Whitech.

“In keeping with Fujifilm’s commitment to provide a sophisticated fulfilment solution, the organisation will continue to invest in Whitech’s development to accommodate future growth,” Mr Marshall said.
