In February, Hexicom announced that the company would demonstrate its new, web-based print estimating and management system, eprint, at the show.
eprint is an easy to use, affordable, internet based print estimating and job management system designed for small to medium-sized print, print management and graphic designer businesses, which offers the benefits of organised and streamlined estimating, job management and invoicing flow.
Now, the company has released further details, confirming it will also be featuring its PrintJob, MyProjex and B2C PrintShop products at PrintEx11.
Phil Rutherford from Hexicom says PrintJob is a proven, internet based print order management system, (also referred to as a Web2Print system) used by many printers and print managers worldwide including a growing number in Australia and New Zealand.
“PrintJob enables your customers to print from their own personalised product catalogue, request quotes online, track progress of their orders themselves and update and proof online editable products such as business cards,” says Rutherford.
“The system also allows print managers to outsource the order received from the customer to their suppliers, along with the print ready artwork file providing a seamless work flow from customer through to the printer.”
MyProjex, also to be demonstrated on the Hexicom stand at PrintEx11, is an internet based project management system to help customers, graphic designers and printers efficiently manage the design, proofing and approval process of new graphic design items, Rutherford explains.
“If you are involved in the design of complex items requiring multiple versions, proofs and approval processes then MyProjex will remove the headache of tracking the projects progress instead providing you with an easy to manage workflow between multiple users from the inception of the project brief through to the submission of the final approved design to the printer,” he says.
“The finished project files from MyProjex can then be stored by My Assets, a digital asset management system, so users can easily access the final version of the file and clearly see the file details whether it be a PDF, image file or web design.”
In addition, the company will be showing its B2C PrintShop, a specialist storefront ordering system which, in Rutherford’s words, “enables print businesses to have a website that sells”.
“With B2C PrintShop, customers can order from your range of standard products, editing them and proofing them online and then submitting their order and paying by credit card,” he explains.
“You can completely personalise the design of the system to your company branding and colour scheme and link the payment gateway of your choice so payments flow direct to your business bank account.
“It’s the perfect system for anyone who wants to generate new business from the public and small businesses.”
More information about PrintJob and MyProjex can be found at www.printjob.com and www.myprojex.com respectively, or go to Stand 3421 at PrintEx11, just opposite the cafe area in Hall 2 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.
