Well known Adam Lucas from TAFE NSW has been appointed to the position of TAFE NSW State Manager WorldSkills.
Adam commenced this position in August last year as a part time position. He wil now continue in the role on a full time basis.
He said that he is looking forward to continuing in the role, but will miss the teaching section, staff and students very much. Sydney Institute has provided me with great opportunities, experiences and the opportunity to work with great staff which I will be always grateful.
Sydney Institute has been a ‘home’ for me since starting my training at the age of 15 and I didn’t leave. (Yes, a slow learner you may say)
WorldSkills Australia provides young Australians, aged 23 and under, the opportunity to gain new skills, compete against their peers in their chosen trade and fast track their skills and career development.
It promotes skills excellence by inspiring young people and providing them with an opportunity to showcase their trade and skill talent. Competitions are held on a Regional, National and International level.
