Roland DG Australia has formed a new partnership with TeamVodafone that will see the visual presence of the team enhanced through the burgeoning relationship.
After a successful round over the weekend at Albert Park 400 where drivers Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes showed impressive form, TeamVodafone is gearing up for a big year in 2011.
The TeamVodafone Holden Commodore VEII's, the transporter, pit walls and other equipment all have graphics produced by the innovative Roland XC-540MT printer/cutter with metallic ink technology, and finished with the new Roland VersaLAM laminator and VersaCUT print trimmers.
TeamVodafone Commercial Operations Manager Peter Jamieson welcomed Roland DG to the team. "We are thrilled to have formed a new relationship with Roland DG," said Jamieson. "It gives us a much higher capability in terms of producing our in-house graphics and will also open the door to some exciting and innovative opportunities with our team partners."
With the innovative and versatile print solutions from Roland, TeamVodafone will be able to constantly update the look and feel of the team to keep it fresh and vibrant. "The Roland DG graphic processes give us the flexibility to change the car livery overnight," Jamieson concluded.
Roland DG Sales Director John Wall "The innovation that we pride ourselves on will now be fully exploited via a successful and pro-active team in TeamVodafone," Wall said.
"There are a lot of synergies between the two companies - TeamVodafone is a leading V8 Supercar team and Roland DG are an industry leader ourselves, so it was good fit."
The long-term partnership will see Roland DG launch and demonstrate new products through TeamVodafone, such as the recently released metallic print solutions and other innovative solutions into the future.
