Bordeaux is changing the material of its ink cartridges to increase their durability.
The company is also using a new label design which they say is stronger yet easier to differentiate by colour and product. Each cartridge is individually wrapped in a tight fitting plastic bag and then inserted into an inflated polyethylene bag, which protects it from any possible damage during haulage. These changes are helping Bordeaux to increase operational efficiency and improve shipping and handling procedures.
In addition, all of Bordeaux's products, whether bottles or cartridges, include tamper evidence precautions to avoid possible damage or imitations of Bordeaux’s products. These precautions include bottles embossed with the Bordeaux logo, induction on all bottles and labels for bottles and cartridges with QR code directing the user to Bordeaux’s website.
