InkTec Corporation, the Korean company founded in 1992 and recognised as a developer and manufacturer of advanced wide format equipment, has released its latest printer, the Jetrix 2030FRK flatbed. InkTec’s Australian agent Anitech confirm that the new model will soon be available in Australia.
“This is an exciting development” says Barry Grant, general manager of Anitech “The new Jetrix can run CMYK, plus white and varnish at 50sqm/hr in production mode. The flatbed configuration is 3,060 x 2,000 mm with optional roll to roll, making the machine suitable for indoor, outdoor and industrial applications.”
The latest Jetrix model offers a significant productivity improvements over the existing machine with 8 colour heads and 2,048 nozzles per colour, so operators can run with 2 CMYK heads per colour or CMYK plus white, primer, varnish or other colour options. Advanced features include an automatic anti-crash printhead facility to prevent head damage while printing, an automatic head cleaning system and built in sensors and alarms for operator safety.
The roll to roll option, with take up system as standard, allows printing to a maximum width of 1,612mm giving the Jetrix 2030FRK huge flexibility for print service providers.
“This new model has generated a great deal of customer interest” says Barry “clients have already recognised that the 2030 model represents a quantum leap forward in productivity and features.”
Anitech expect to have a demonstration machine on the floor in April 2011 and will be on show at the upocoming Printex11/VIIE Sydney show in May.
