GJS Machinery has announced the availability of the Brother GT-782, an industrial dual platen, white ink capable direct to garment printer.
The Brother GT-782 white ink capable direct to garment printer is perfect for medium to high volume shops. Thanks to its unique ability to print multiple prints simultaneously, production can increase as a result of reduced cycle times and fast flexible downloading of new images.
“The addition of the Brother GT-782 to the GJS portfolio furthers the already extensive range of direct to garment printing solutions we provide,” said Greg Stone, Director - GJS Machinery. “2011 is shaping up to be a tipping point for the textile industry here in Australia as more local decorators and designers realise the power and importance machines such as the Brother GT-782 can play in the success of their business. We expect considerable interest in this product as it will be within the budget of many smaller and medium organisations” Stone added.
Inkjet garment printing is more economical, faster, and cleaner than traditional screen printing methods, plus it requires significantly less operating space and business start-up costs. With the Brother GT-782, decorators and t-shirt designers can create one of a kind creations or mass production runs - regardless of the number of colours - without having to create film positives, stretching screens, and using chemicals to reclaim these screens. There is virtually no limit to the number of colours you can print, and the colours remain crisp and vibrant even after repeated washes.
"Brother has a proud heritage in direct to garment and textile decorating systems and the GT-782, with its white ink capabilities, dual platens, and extra-large ink cartridges, is our next big innovation for the Australian market," said Greg Benardos, National Manager, New Technologies - Brother International Australia. "The GT-782 takes the best quality operating features, lifelike imaging output and cutting-edge productivity tools and packs them into a high-tech garment printer. We‘re very excited to be announcing the GT-782 in partnership with GJS Machinery this month,” Benardos concluded.
