GAMAA announced today that Ian Martin, Ferag Australia, has been officially appointed to the role of President, GAMAA.
Formerly GAMAA’s Vice President Mr. Martin, who replaces Mitchell Mulligan, will hold the position of President for a two year term.

Livio Barbagallo, Muller Martini, has been appointed to the role of Vice President.
Mr. Martin was welcomed to the role by the GAMAA members at the Association’s biennial retreat held this year in the Hunter Valley. On accepting his appointment Mr. Martin said, “As an industry we are in a period of significant change with many challenges ahead. I am excited about the opportunity to work with the Executive Board, our Executive Director Karen Goldsmith and the GAMAA members to promote our vision for a sustainable industry and to explore new ideas and opportunities”.
He continued. “GAMAA is a truly unified Association and this was reinforced at the retreat where the members freely gave of their time and expertise to develop the future directions of the Association. Around our table sit commercial competitors, but when we are there on behalf of GAMAA there is a single commitment that is based on working with the industry towards a sustainable future and that is very rewarding”.
Mr. Barbagallo who will take Mr. Martin’s place as the Vice President said, “I am very pleased to continue to represent GAMAA and to promote its vision. As a not-for-profit association GAMAA is dedicated to contributing to the industry and I am proud to be part of such a committed group”.
The members of the GAMAA Executive Board were also announced at the retreat. The returning members are Meredith Darke (DIC), Brett Maishman (Fuji Xerox), Mitchell Mulligan (Böttcher) and Alastair Hadley (Heidelberg). Brent Stephens (Flint) stepped down and is replaced by Adrian Fleming (Kodak).
