MACtac have announced the opening of their 2011 Awards.
Created in 1998, the awards are one of the few opportunities our printers have of entering an international competition.
Entries from Australia and New Zealand would go into the Oceania, so if you enter you would be up against the best from across Asia.
In order to fairly judge the different types of projects, the following categories have been created:
- the prize for the most unexpected, innovative and original creation.
- the prize for the most successful non-promotional interior decoration.
- the prize for the technical application that is most difficult to carry out.
- the prize for the most monumental work.
- the prize that beautifies the city or the environment the most.
- the MACtac prize.
The judging will be done by an independent jury in each region made up from from independent experts and editors of major trade journals in the visual communications field. Three jury panels, one for each territorial zone, will evaluate the submissions taking into account the impact of the communication and the cultural context.
