The Uvistar range of UV printers are Fujifilm Sericol's latest investment and represents one of the most exciting products to come to our shores for quite a while.
Developed in partnership between Fujifilm Sericol and Israel's Matan Digital Printers, the machine can produce 300 square metres per hour at 600 dpi on a range flexible media.
The printers include 32 print heads with drop sizes starting at 30 picolitres.
The unit is also available in the a 5 metre model with both models having multi roll capability. The larger model being able to accomodate 3 rolls and the smaller model, two roll.
Top resolution is 600 dpi (1200 apparent) using Fujifilm's Uvijet low odour ink. The ink provides a wide colour gamut whilst also offering low ink consumption.
Matt Ritson, Fujifilm Sericol's marketing manager confirmed that a 3.5 metre version had been sold to a local organisation with a 5 metre hopefully on the way.
