Giclee Media Supplies has released Legion Papers premier canvas product – Anasazi in Australia and New Zealand.
Legion Paper is the USA's largest fine art media distributor and is the owner of the Moab brand of digital papers.
Moab's Anasazi is a bold 21 mil (.53mm) threaded cotton/polyester blend material. The product will initially be available in a matt water resistant form suitable for most pigment or dye based inked wide format machines.
Anasazi is an uncompromising 100% USA made premium product using a similar stitch pattern to GMS's very popular 19 mil (.48mm) cotton/polyester InkjetPro Premium Edition.
Both products are water resistant, have acid free bases and are suitable for liquid protective coating by Aquathane-UV. Anasazi with its bolder texture and more restrained use of optical brighteners is targeted at the fine art market while InkjetPro Premium Edition continues to be the standard for Australian archival photo canvas reproduction.
To celebrate its introduction in Australia and New Zealand - Giclee Media Supplies is offering 24 and 44 inch rolls of Anasazi at price parity with InkjetPro Premium Edition until December 31st 2009.
