Premedia Technologies, specialists in cutting edge software for the print, graphics and marketing industries, is re-launching its business under the name PURL Technologies Limited.

PURL’s CEO, Chris Graham, explains the purpose of the re-launch. “Right now marketing, advertising and printing are in a major state of flux, with margins being cut to the bone.  We’ve restructured our business model to tackle the needs of these industries, hiring new personnel and adding to our suite of innovative marketing technologies, which will help our clients compete in a shrinking market.  We thought about calling ourselves Premedia 3.0, but our new Creative Director wouldn’t have a bar of it.”

Brett Jameson will continue to develop his role as CTO, while Baden Turley takes over as Managing Director, freeing up Chris Graham to concentrate on marketing the new technologies. Turley, previously a Programme Manager at The Warehouse, has considerable experience in running IT software companies.

Glenn Jameson fills the new position of Creative Director, which has been created to oversee the integration of PURL technologies into the fields of advertising and marketing. Jameson has extensive experience in advertising, including senior agency roles in London, New York, and Chicago where he developed the award-winning “Whassup” campaign for Budweiser. “Brand managers are tired of the shotgun marketing tactics agencies churn out, and frustrated by the lack of significant feedback loops,” says Jameson. “Truly personalised Multi Channel Marketing campaigns will play a significant role in reducing costs and improving efficacy. PURL’s suite of extraordinary marketing tools which are truly ingenious. This is where science meets creativity.”
