Nationwide distributor of Kodak wide format digital consumables, Starleaton Digital Solutions, today announced it would extend Kodak’s exclusive Performance Guarantee to include its supply chain.
Guaranteed fast delivery from its well-stocked warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth will enable hard-pressed signage, display, photographic and other wide-format users, to respond quickly to urgent orders in a ‘just in time’ manufacturing environment.
“Orders we receive for Kodak inkjet media by 10:30am are guaranteed to be delivered the same day in major metropolitan regions. For other areas, we guarantee 24-hour delivery,” said Starleaton director Gary Smith. “On top of this, for ultra-urgent Kodak deliveries, we will pick immediately and send by courier at a small extra charge, or the order can be collected.”
Kodak inkjet media is the only range to include a performance guarantee on all major aqueous inkjet printers such as Epson, Hewlett Packard, Roland, Canon and Encad. The guarantee states that the prints will remain in excellent condition, free from fading, cracking or bleeding, for the duration of the guarantee – which varies depending on media-ink-printer combination but is anything up to 150 years (indoors) in duration.
“Performance on the printer is important but true performance is measured by the overall service from a supplier,” added Smith, “in extending the guarantee to include the supply chain, we are assisting our customers to manage their cash flows more effectively, and to better service their own customers. If we fail in this promise other than for extenuating circumstances such as floods, strikes and so forth, Starleaton provide a further 10% discount.”
Starleaton prides itself on holding good warehouse stocks of Kodak and other inkjet media. The Delivery Performance Guarantee (DPG) applies to in-stock media only. Starleaton also promises that there will be no price increases on Kodak roll inkjet media purchased through them, for at least until July 2009.
