Whilst this publication is all about wide format printing, it's nice to get back to our roots and talk about traditional skills and craftmanship, hence the next Letterheads in Tassie.

Guy Richards from The Sign & Print Shop in Glenorchy, Hobart, Tasmania will be hosting the 16th Australian Letterheads meet from the 25th to the 27th of September this year.

letterheads20logo.jpgIf you are like the hundreds of signies that have attended past Letterhead meets, both locally and overseas, then make a point of visiting Guy this September and again share that passion for the skills and craftsmanship as well as the camradery of like minded people.

Guy said that one of the main functions of Letterheads is to keep those skills alive and also to pass them on to the next generation of signwriters.

"My first Letterhead Meet was in 1995, the passion that was passed on to me is still as strong today, anyone who has attended any of the past 15 Letterheads in Australia or anywhere else will tell you different things about the meets, but the common bond is what you take away from a meet, new friends, long lost friends, new ideas and techniques and even more a new found passion and pride for the sign industry.

"That’s why we gladly offered to host the 16th Australian Letterheads to give back some of what we have received from our Craft," he said.

Become part of a growing family of sign people from all corners of the World. A Letterhead believes in sharing their skills and knowledge with others in our trade. Our goal is to preserve the best of our industry's history and learn today's new technologies together.

The more you give, the more you receive. The secret is to dive right in and get involved.

If you have never attended a "live" Letterhead Meet, we encourage you to find one near you and get involved. The latest info on future live meets can always be found at the http://www.letterville.com/events Check it out on a regular basis.

Everybody attending Letterheads is to create their version of the Letterheads 09 logo or a piece of artwork to display - Approx 600mm x 500mm.

Even a kids colouring in competition using the Black & White Logo, with a special kids prize up for grabs!
