Many in the sign and related industries interact with the building industry.  If your business is one of these, then DesignBuild should be of interest to you.

Designbuild Sydney, Australia’s largest trade exhibition for the building and construction industry, will launch a range of new business initiatives to assist building professionals in better understanding the effects of the global economic crisis and how best to prepare for the future.

In an industry first, Designbuild Sydney will run a series of Business Development Seminars aimed at blue and white collar industry members, looking to build a stronger bottom line. Industry renowned speakers will educate and equip building professionals with the information necessary for business survival and prosperity within the current economic climate.

A second initiative is the Platinum VIP and One-to-One meeting programs which will connect high-end buyers and sellers. The programs will encourage onsite business interaction at the highest level and the fully-hosted private meeting program will be the first of its kind to be launched at an Australian trade exhibition for the building industry.

“Designbuild Sydney will provide key decision makers with a forum for doing business and securing strong leads. We are launching the Platinum VIP program to facilitate a higher level of successful business activity, making Designbuild Sydney one of the first Australian building events to do so,” said Steve Horsley, Exhibition Manager, Designbuild Sydney.

These business features will complement Designbuild’s existing attractions, including the National Plumbing Show, the Green Building Zone and Designbuild Seminar Series, as well as key product areas Windows and Glass; Finishes and Services; Building Materials and Outdoor Living.

“Designbuild Sydney seeks to provide visitors with higher quality exhibitors, features and industry-relevant content that reflects the future needs of the building and construction industry. It is our intention that Designbuild is a focal event for all building industry professionals because of its relevance, topicality and central source of information,” said Horsley.

With organisers expecting more than 10,000 building and construction professionals to attend, the newly remodelled event, held 21 – 23 May 2009 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, is set to be the biggest and most industry-focused building exhibition to date.
