The tangled web of Reacon-linked companies controlled by Jahangir Khan and his wife is beginning to unravel. As per our story this issue – Cathro & Partners have been appointed Administrator of Reacon Australia Pty Ltd and Mail Marketing Works Pty Ltd but a last minute application to liquidate Reacon Australia will be made on Friday 11th April, in the Federal Court.

National Mailing Marketin ACTMystery also surrounds National Mailing Marketing, an ACT company acquired by Reacon Group in July 2024 but retrospectively transferred to a company in Jahagir's wife's name in February 2025

Less than a year ago, Jahangir Khan was at Drupa, Germany, ordering a top-of-the-line Fujifilm Jetpress 1160CF high-speed continuous inkjet press, to much fanfare. It is understood that this behemoth was primarily to perform print work for the hugely successful Hello Fresh home meal delivery operation. This week has seen Reacon Australia enter voluntary administration; Reacon Group apparently sold off to one of Reacon’s major creditors, believed to be Vikrant Gulati’s Westman Printing of Minto and now, at 9:30am on Friday 11th April a Federal Court of Australia hearing, online via Webex: https://federalcourts.webex.com/meet/JRCL  will be heard by National Judicial Registrar Peter Schmidt, to appoint a liquidator to Reacon Australia Pty Ltd. If successful, this will prevent any DOCA being implemented.

Creditors of Reacon Australia are urged to register today (Thursday) and join online on the above link, and have legal representation for the appointment.

Reacon Group sold

Another Jahangir Khan company, Reacon Group Pty Ltd, which controls Mail Marketing Works, trading as mmw3degress - and supposedly ACT's National Mailing & Marketing -, has reportedly been acquired by Vikrant Gulati’s Westman Printing of Minto, NSW or, more accurately Innovis Media Group Pty Ltd which is Mr Gulati’s investment vehicle. Details are sketchy but it is understood that Westman Printing was owed well in excess of $100,000 by Reacon. This would suggest that Westman/ Innovis Media Group now controls Mail Marketing Works Regent’s Park (formerly Lane Cove) facility – and possibly the big Fujifilm Jetpress also.

ASIC records show that Mr Gulati was appointed a director of Reacon Group on 7th April 2025, and that Mr Khan resigned as a director on the same day. Mr Khan’s wife Evita, also ceased to be a shareholder on 7th April.

As if all the above wasn’t enough, another acquired company by Khan-linked vehicles, was ACT’s National Mailing & Marketing Pty Ltd (ACN: 059 249 455). ASIC records show that this company changed hands, to Reacon Group, on 17th July 2024.

Mystery surrounds National Mailing & Marketing, ACT, acquisition

However, and it’s a big HOWEVER, ownership of National Mailing & Marketing was shifted to a new company called Riverina Wealth Pty Ltd (ACN 684707524), registered at a North Rocks, Sydney domestic address by Evita Behl Kahn – Mr Khan’s wife, on 26th February 2025.

This North Rocks house is actually going up for auction this Saturday 12th April, via Belle Property, with a guide price of $2.1 million, so if sold it will no longer be the correct registered address for 'Riverina Wealth Pty Ltd' - owner of the ACT's National Mailing & Marketing Pty Ltd.

How can it be that shares acquired by Reacon Group Pty Ltd on 17th July 2024, can be transferred, from the same person who sold them to Reacon, to another related-party person seven months later, on February 26th 2025? It’s retrospective and tends to suggest shifting an asset (National Mailing & Marketing) out of Reacon Group just before it was acquired by Westman/Innovis Media.

It's complicated and curious and caught up in the maelstrom of all this company wheeler-dealing, are the employees, who stand to loose hundreds of thousand of dollars in entitlements. Add to this the ATO, Superfunds, suppliers and utilities and it's looking very messy indeed. And it's not over yet.
