The ASGA Social Bowls program for 2025 kicked off on Friday at the historic Melbourne Bowling Club in the heart of Windsor. A great time was had by all, with Brisbane next on the bowlo calendar.

A balmy late summer night in Melbourne made for a well-attended event with family, friends and colleagues all gathering for a fun and friendly game of barefoot bowls and the chance to catch up over some delicious food and drinks.
ASGA President, Mick Harrold says: "These Social Bowls Events were among ASGA's most popular last year, so we are delighted to be bringing them back for 2025 thanks to the generous support of our Bowls Series National Sponsor, Orafol Australia.
"It's great to see so many here tonight, and we are looking forward to similarly successful events around the country in the coming weeks and months."

Brisbane will be the next city to hold the social bowls events, on Thursday 27th March at The BOO, Queensland’s oldest Bowls Club in Breakfast Creek Road, Newstead. The night will start at 5:30pm and run to at least 8:00pm.
