As so often happens, January/February sees industry people transitioning roles for the new year. Two high-profile leaders have changed jobs, David Proctor has left Kyocera fro CBTech, while former Spandex MD Ben McCauley is now with Konica Minolta.
New GM at CBTech, DavidProctorDavid Proctor has an illustrious career in print and office automation, having spent 20 years with Konica Minolta Australia and spells before that with Fuji Xerox and Canon. He joins CBTech, as General Manager, from Kyocera Print Solutions in familiar territory – CBTech is a leading Konica Minolta dealer and also sells Epson and Oki products in the Newcastle. Central Coast, Hunter and Port Macquarie regions.
CBTech also sells Marketforged 3D scanning and printing solutions and controls TO Technology - another Konica Minolta reseller/servicer.
Over at Konica Minolta, former Spandex Asia Pacific MD Ben McCauley has joined as NSW State Manager.Ben McCauley, now with Konica Minolta
He joins Konica Minolta with extensive industry experience including roles as National Sales Manager, Sales Director and most recently MD of Spandex Asia Pacific – a distributor of material and equipment for sign making, digital printing, vehicle wrapping , paint protection and graphic design.
As a consumable and hardware supplier, Spandex shares a number of customers with Konica Minolta in the commercial print industry and will be a familiar face to many in NSW.
