Notwithstanding the tragic Californian wildfires, the Impressions expo at Long Beach went ahead in late January. Brother took this opportunity to release a new powder applicator and curing combo in the 16" x 20" sheet format (406mm x 508mm)
Brother showcased its latest Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing technology at the January 2025 Impressions Expo in Long Beach, California. The newly introduced DTF Adhesive Applicator and DTF Curing Station, designed and manufactured by Schulze, build upon the successful collaboration between the two companies previous work together on DTG pretreat devices.
The Brother DTF Adhesive Applicator ensures consistent and even application of adhesive powder, optimizing adhesion for vibrant, long-lasting DTF prints. When paired with the DTF Curing Station, which provides controlled and uniform heat curing, the system enhances print durability and wash resistance—essential for textile decorators, apparel manufacturers, and print shops seeking to streamline production. Both units support DTF sheets up to 16” x 20”, making them ideal for a variety of DTF sizes.
