Chisholm TAFE Art & Design has been working closely with Industry to establish a Print and Graphics training hub in its Institute in South East Melbourne, to deliver Skills-first Print and Graphics courses and also to look at specific Industry Training and skills gaps. Stakeholders are invited to attend the Inaugural Print and Graphics Industry Forum on Wednesday 1st November.

Chisolm TAFE studentsArt & Design is already a popular course at Chisholm and the Institute wants to find ways to make outcomes more employer-specific

Chisolm TAFE banner Chisholm's Art and Design delivery area has been working closely with Industry experts to create an Industry standard digital print space, and identify how the institute can best support the Print and Design Industry.

Chisholm Art & Design aspires to better connect and actively engage with the print industry to ensure they are across the local skills needs before they become a resourcing issue.

Industry stakeholders are invited to join the Art & Design team for afternoon tea, tour the facilities, get to know the team and programs and join the conversation as to how the Institute can best support the Print, Signage and Design sectors.

Questions to be raised include:

  1. What training does the industry need?
  2. Would traineeships support member businesses?
  3. Do stakeholders and employees know about Free TAFE courses available?

Chisholm Art & Design welcomes the opportunity to listen and collaborate towards a secure and prosperous future for the Print and Graphics industry in South East Melbourne and regional catchment areas.
