In another win for the company, Mutoh’s XpertJet 1641SR Pro has won a Buyers' Lab (BLI) Pick Award from Keypoint Intelligence for ‘Outstanding Entry-Level CMYK Eco-Solvent/Latex 54/64in [1371mm-1625mm] Printer.’

The Buyer's Lab recognition come just weeks after Mutoh scooped five category awards at the Printing United Pinnacle Awards in the USA.
BLI undertakes rigorous testing of machines, with particular product features highlighted under the award for the XpertJet 1641SR Pro being:
- fastest print speeds for an entry-level CMYK device to date;
- largest colour gamut across all entry-level CMYK devices tested;
- excellent rating for skin halftone reproduction
- excellent automated procedures for media setup, alignment and media length tracking reduces user setup times;
- auto nozzle blockage checking and nozzle area select system minimises risks during unattended printing periods.
